At the Markthof, much of the food comes straight from the farm to the plate - and this is precisely what gives the restaurant its special character. Between its own farm, pastures and creative kitchen team, a modern world of indulgence is created here that lives regionality in an honest and uncomplicated way. The former hunting lodge in the middle of the farm creates an atmosphere that is relaxed, high-quality and cozy at the same time.
The cuisine focuses on seasonal ingredients, uncompromising quality and the respectful handling of food. According to the "From Nose to Tail" principle, farm produce and selected ingredients from regional producers are creatively processed and interpreted in a modern way. The chefs Fabian Schasching and Max Eichberger bring their experience from renowned top Austrian kitchens to the table and combine down-to-earthness with international standards.
